Fans gathered in lines curving around the block at White Oak Music Hall in Houston, anxious to finally see Ten on his first U.S. solo tour, the “Ten US Showcase Tour.” His career has already been deeply embedded in K-pop history through NCT U, SuperM, and most notably WayV. Tonight, however, marked a new step. The tour served as his full U.S. solo debut and a chance to show what he could do beyond the groups and stages that first introduced him to fans, while also marking his first tour as the CEO of his own label, ILLIMNT.
As the floor filled, excitement echoed through the venue, growing louder until the lights finally dimmed. An introductory video played, showing clips of Ten throughout his career, and before he even stepped onto the stage, the crowd was already roaring.
Finally, the anticipation broke as the first notes of “Stunner” rang out. Fans immediately filled their lungs to sing along, setting the tone for the night. Ten was ready to show Houston exactly what his artistry could do.

“Nightwalker” followed, matching the darker tone of Halloween weekend while allowing a different side of Ten to shine. The song also introduced one of the strongest elements of his performances: his dancing. The dance break was met with roars and applause as he moved across the stage with a control that made even the complicated choreography look effortless.
That control carried into “Birthday,” which highlighted what many would call Ten’s greatest strength. His choreography was incredibly intricate, yet he maintained complete control of his vocals, creating an almost trance-like atmosphere as fans seemingly held their breath watching him command the stage. Some would argue that he is one of the most powerful dancers in the industry, and watching him move through both performances made it easy to understand why.
Taking a moment to slow down, Ten introduced himself to a crowd made up of both new fans and those who had followed him since his debut. Moving into “On Ten,” he encouraged everyone to focus on having fun, and Houston wasted no time. “Dangerous” jolted the crowd back into another breathtaking performance. Ten’s stage presence kept fans glued to him as silky vocals and sharp movements filled the stage.
“Shadow” then brought the energy down, revealing some of Ten’s deeper emotions. The performance showed that his artistry could hold more than confidence and charisma, making room for regret, memories, and the emotions people carry with them. Its message resonated throughout the venue, with the audience quickly drowning out Ten’s voice with their own.
Following these energetic performances, Ten showcased his vocals through acoustic renditions of “New Heroes,” his second solo release, and “Water,” one of his most notable songs from recent years. The pairing reflected his journey toward finding his own sound while remaining connected to his past.

As Ten spoke about how each tour stop had its own special moment, Houston received one of its own. He asked fans to turn on their phone flashlights in honor of NASA, transforming the venue into a universe of its own. Hundreds of lights filled the room as “Lie With You” began to bounce off the walls, with Ten directing their movement and turning the crowd into a sea of stars. The lights moved together, following a single point and creating a moment of unity that showed just how easily music could bring everyone in the room together.
As a surprise for his “stars,” Ten then performed his unreleased song “Can I Be Honest.” Despite the emotional weight of the song, he continued bantering with fans, asking them to focus and pretend to be sad so they could get the full listening experience. Although the song will not be released until 2027, fans were already singing along to every word.
That connection continued into “IRL,” which celebrated Ten’s journey alongside the team and fans who have supported him throughout it. Rather than using the song solely to showcase his skills, he used the moment to connect with the “Day Ones” who helped bring him to this stage. The lyrics, “it can't be a dream 'cause I'm up on the stage / And I'm hearing them scream,” brought that relationship to the forefront as fans poured their energy into the line.
After a VCR showing everything Ten, his team, and his fans have experienced throughout his career, he returned to the stage for a medley of some of his most beloved songs. “Enough For Me” became another dedication to his fans. Ten had previously mentioned that one of the most special things an artist can receive is hearing their songs sung back to them, and Houston gave him exactly that, returning every lyric to him.
Ending the night with “Bambola” and “Outwest,” the set felt like a connection between Ten’s past achievements and the next chapter of his career. “Bambola” carried elements reminiscent of the music fans have come to know from his time with NCT while still maintaining his own sound. “Outwest,” however, felt like a bridge into something new, reinforcing the idea that Ten is continuing to expand his artistry and make his mark around the world.
Ten’s story has never been limited to one group, one sound, or one stage. From his years with NCT and SuperM to establishing himself as a solo artist, this concert reflected everything that brought him to this point while still looking toward what comes next. Houston was not simply another stop on his tour. It was a chance for Ten to show that the artistry fans have followed for years is still growing, evolving, and finding its way to new stages across the U.S.
