Nopality Magazine is a Texas-based collective for Asian American youth, dedicated to documenting and elevating all mediums of art and culture through thoughtful written and visual storytelling. We amplify underrepresented voices, spotlight communities, and support new and established creatives, fostering stories that resonate across the state and beyond.
Our Story
Nopality Magazine was founded in early 2025 by Lorenzo dela Cruz as a culmination of multiple passion projects, including, interviewing local artists, photographing concerts, and documenting art exhibitions. Born from a desire to address the lack of Asian American media coverage and representation for young creatives in San Antonio TX, Nopality Magazine strives to be a disruptive voice in the Texas media landscape.
