Laufey Announces First Arena Tour "A Matter of Time" Ahead of New Album Release

Laufey has officially announced her third North American tour, titled "A Matter of Time." Promoted by AEG Presents, this tour marks her first-ever extensive arena run, set to take place this fall. It follows the upcoming release of her third studio album, scheduled for August 22, 2025, via Warner Chappell Music, and featuring the popular pre-release singles "Silver Lining" and "Tough Luck."

The announcement has generated a wave of excitement from both longtime fans and new listeners, as Laufey continues to cement her place in the cultural zeitgeistβ€”bringing her distinctive blend of classical, jazz-pop, and bossa nova into the mainstream of international music.

News of the tour broke on Instagram the morning of May 29th. Laufey also revealed that Suki Waterhouse will be joining her on tour.

"I PRESENT TO YOU… A MATTER OF TIME TOUR 🀍 In North America this fall with angel @sukiwaterhouse!!" Laufey wrote in the post's caption.

She added, "Cannot wait to welcome you to the world of #AMatterOfTime."

The tour will kick off at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, on September 15, and include stops in Austin, Houston, Phoenix, Vancouver, Nashville, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., before concluding at TD Garden in Boston on October 27. Most notably, the Chinese-Icelandic artist will make her headlining debut at Madison Square Gardenβ€”a monumental achievement for any artist.
