Irving, TX - “STAYC girls, it’s going down!”
You don’t have to be immersed in the world of K-pop to recognize the iconic line that opens many songs by the South Korean girl group STAYC. Last Friday night, the six-member group, consisting of Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J, made their way to Toyota Music Pavilion in Irving, TX as part of their 2025 ‘STAY TUNED’ tour. Midway through the show, the members used the popular catchphrase to test the crowd’s energy, and SWITH (STAYC’s fandom name) proved they weren’t letting the night end anytime soon. By that point, the group had already been on stage for well over an hour, delivering vibrant performances of fan favorites from across their discography.
The evening opened with a trio of tracks: “BEBE,” “1Thing,” and “Poppy.” After brief member introductions, they launched into “Beautiful Monster” and “Cheeky Icy Thang.” This quick five-song stretch demonstrated the group’s musical versatility. When they debuted in 2020, STAYC was known for their “Teen Fresh” concept, which was meant to showcase their bright and youthful energy. Now, nearly 5 years into their career, the girls have transitioned into a sound with a more mature and sophisticated side, marked by the release of their first full album Metamorphic last year.

As part of the album, the group released three subunit songs, to which the next portion of the show was dedicated. Sieun, Seeun, and J performed “Find,” a high-tempo, choreo-heavy song with bittersweet lyrics. Isa followed with her sultry R&B solo “Roses,” and Sumin and Yoon highlighted the beautiful blend of their vocals with “Fakin’.” To close out this section, the girls reunited to perform their popular B-side track, “Young Luv.”
During the next talking ment, the members commented on how loud the Irving crowd was during previous stages, with Sieun even proclaiming, “I think we should’ve come to Irving much earlier.” The crowd grew even louder when the girls asked for Texas recommendations. Classic shouts about Buccees, patty melts, BBQ, and the state fair echoed throughout the venue, though one fan stole the show with his beaver onesie.
The concert then transformed into a full-blown party during performances of “Bubble” and “Trouble Maker.” The members brought out bubble guns and ran around with a GoPro that was eventually gifted to a lucky SWITH in the front row. There was no lack of fan interaction, as the girls ran around the stage sending waves and heart signs to every section of the crowd.
In an effort to save the best for last, STAYC performed all their most popular hits at the end of the show. Fans were treated to nostalgic debut-era songs like “SO BAD,” “ASAP,” “Stereotype,” and “RUN2U.” The most anticipated moment of the night occurred during the encore, when the girls took to the crowd, allowing everyone in the venue to catch a glimpse of them up close. While there were no cowboy hats in sight, the members sported boots to add a Texas touch. During their final goodbyes, the members declared that Irving would definitely be on their “top best city list.” Sieun even shared a special anecdote about how her English teacher was from Dallas–making the visit even more special. The night ended with “Stay WITH me,” a fan song co-written by the members, the perfect sendoff to a heartfelt concert.
STAYC’s stop in Irving was a testament to how far they’ve grown as artists and how deeply they appreciate their fans. From playful crowd interactions to charismatic performances, the show was a perfect encapsulation of the group’s signature charm. It’s safe to say that everyone should definitely ‘stay tuned’ for what’s to come.
