Earlier this month, Korean boy group One Pact made a powerful impact at The Palace Theatre in Los Angeles, delivering a performance that blended high energy, emotional resonance, and a sense of genuine connection with fans. Early in the afternoon, dedicated fans began to gather outside the historic venue, creating a scene that reflected both anticipation and community.
Hours before the doors opened, the line stretched to the end of the block. Lightsticks, banners, and handmade posters filled the streets, while groups of friends traded fan-made signs. The sense of camaraderie among the crowd set the tone for what would become an evening defined by warmth, joy, and shared excitement.
Inside, the venue’s ornate architecture added a touch of grandeur to the event. Its gilded moldings, red velvet seating, and moody lighting made for a striking setting as fans filled every seat, buzzing with anticipation for the group’s first major Los Angeles appearance.
Before the official concert began, VIP ticket holders were treated to an exclusive pre-show segment that felt more like a live talk show than a typical sound check. The five members—TAG, Jay Chang, Seongmin, Jong Woo, and Yedam—took turns answering questions submitted by fans on sticky notes. The exchange offered a candid glimpse into their personalities, mixing humor and sincerity in a way that drew frequent laughter and applause.

Seongmin, in particular, earned loud cheers for his efforts to speak in English, while TAG and Jay Chang smoothly translated for fans throughout the session. Their natural banter underscored one of the night’s central themes: connection. Even before the first song began, One Pact had succeeded in turning the event into a deeply personal experience.
During the sound check, the group shared lighthearted anecdotes that revealed their easygoing chemistry. When asked by a fan to share a “TMI,” Jong Woo admitted that he had already consumed “three cups of coffee and a Monster” that day. The revelation drew laughter from both the audience and his bandmates, offering a relatable, human moment that contrasted with the polished precision fans would soon see on stage.
When the lights dimmed and the concert officially began, the atmosphere shifted from intimate to electric. Fans immediately rose to their feet, waving lightsticks in rhythm as the opening track blasted through the speakers. One Pact wasted no time commanding the stage, their choreography sharp and their energy unwavering—a testament to their growing international appeal.
Jay Chang’s vocals stood out during his solo, captivating the audience with a performance that was both technically masterful and emotionally charged. With his multicultural background—Filipino-Chinese on one side and Irish-Hungarian on the other—Jay adds a layer of representation rarely seen in the K-pop space. His range, shifting effortlessly from powerful belts to delicate falsettos, became one of the evening’s defining highlights.
The group’s choreography further emphasized their athleticism and precision. Jong Woo and Seongmin delivered particularly intense sequences, incorporating acrobatic transitions that seemed to defy gravity. At one point, one member leapt from behind the others, soaring over them in a perfectly timed motion that drew gasps and cheers from the crowd.

While the show’s high production value kept the energy soaring, what distinguished One Pact was their ability to balance spectacle with sincerity. Jay Chang, serving as one of the group’s primary English speakers, frequently bridged the language gap, expressing gratitude and interacting with fans in heartfelt ways.
By the mid-point of the concert, it became clear that this was far more than just another tour stop. The event carried a spirit of gratitude and reciprocity. Fans responded to every smile, gesture, and word, while the members returned that energy tenfold.
As the final songs played, the crowd’s energy peaked. The combination of synchronized choreography, strong harmonies, and genuine interaction made for a finale that felt both explosive and intimate–especially when each member treated their fans to a little snippet of their solo songs from their recently released album “ONE FACT”.
When the lights came up, few fans were ready to leave. Many lingered—some still chanting the members’ names. A post-show fan interaction segment allowed attendees to meet the artists up close, with organizers providing privacy screens to ensure comfort and order. The intimacy of those final moments reinforced what the concert had been about all along: connection.
For many, the show was more than a display of musical talent; it was a reminder of what makes K-pop resonate so deeply across the world, the ability to build community through shared emotion.
For One Pact, The Palace wasn’t just another venue. It was a stage where they introduced and reaffirmed who they are as artists—grounded, sincere, and deeply committed to their craft. And for fans, it was proof of why they continue to line the streets, wave their banners, and sing along to every lyric.
In an industry crowded with talent, One Pact’s Los Angeles performance stood out for its sincerity. Their blend of skill, humility, and fan awareness transformed an ordinary concert into an experience that left every attendee feeling seen, heard, and connected.
